Who we are

What we collect and why
- Your email address, when you sign up for The Drop, ask for a size alert or submit a fit report. We use it only to send what you asked for: a confirmation link, the weekly email, or alerts when your size restocks or a price drops. Legal basis: your consent, which you confirm by clicking the link we email you.
- Your size and product preferences, if you choose to give them (brand, type of gear, size, the product you want an alert for), so that we can send relevant alerts.
- Fit reports: height, weight, size bought, how it fitted and an optional comment. These are published without your email or name.
- Click logs: when you click a “Buy” or “View” link we record which product and store was clicked, the time and the page you came from (without any query string). We don't record your IP address or anything that identifies you. We use this to see which brands and stores people use and, where we join affiliate programmes, to reconcile commissions. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in running and funding the site.
- Cookieless analytics: we use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count page views, referrers, countries and page speed. It sets no cookies, does not use local storage and does not fingerprint or track you across sites. We also count visits that arrive with campaign tags (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign) as a daily total per page, with no personal data. Legal basis: legitimate interest.
- Spam protection: our forms use Cloudflare Turnstile to check that a human is submitting them, and we store a one-way, salted hash of your IP address with each signup or report to limit abuse. We cannot turn the hash back into your IP address.
We don't sell, rent or share your data for advertising. Sponsors never receive subscriber data.
Who processes it for us
- Resend sends our emails from its EU region (Ireland, eu-west-1). It processes your email address and the message content on our behalf.
- Cloudflare hosts the website and database and provides Turnstile and Web Analytics.
Where a processor is based outside the EEA, transfers are covered by the EU Standard Contractual Clauses and/or the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.
How long we keep it
- Signups and fit reports that are never confirmed are deleted after 30 days.
- Confirmed subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe. When you unsubscribe, we stop emailing you at once and keep only your address and the unsubscribe date, so that we don't email you again by mistake. Ask and we'll delete that too.
- Confirmed fit reports stay published while the product is listed. The email behind a report is kept only so you can ask us to remove it.
- Email sending logs are deleted after 90 days, and click logs after 24 months.
Unsubscribe, access and deletion
Every email has a one-click unsubscribe link. To see, correct or delete your data, email hello@bjjdrops.com or bjjdrops.official@gmail.com from the address concerned. We'll reply within 30 days. You can also object to processing based on legitimate interest.
If you're unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Irish Data Protection Commission (dataprotection.ie).
Cookies
BJJDrops sets no tracking or advertising cookies. Cloudflare Turnstile does not set tracking cookies. Brand stores you visit through our links have their own privacy and cookie policies.
